In most cases you can always find a training class that fits your budget, schedule and skill level. Accounting. Most people know how to handle money on a daily basis, but never understand their own financial situation. Once a year they throw all their documents at an accountant hoping they get a tax return and don’t owe any money. You need to know your budget and other related financial matters. In most industries, once you reach a certain managerial level, you’ll have budget issues to deal with. Keeping track of your company’s costs and handling money is not as simple as you might think.
Marketing. It is vital for all organizations to get their messages to the world and leadership team likes everyone to be on the same page and have the same goals. A marketing course can give you insights into how the management is thinking. Regardless of your position, this may help you to get noticed and advance in your career.
Technology. Technology is everywhere today and you need to feel comfortable using it. Basic computer skills are expected in most professions, but you might want to improve your skills with spreadsheets, presentations, word processors, and other software. Public speaking. Public speaking said to be the number one fear of most people - even ahead of death. Not sure if it’s actually true, but the world is divided into people who like speaking in public and those who don’t.
